Antioxidant Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½  tsp. minced ginger root
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • ½  cup chopped cucumber
  • ½  cup peeled and shredded beets
  • ¼  cup red cabbage
  • ½  cup turnip greens
  • ½  cup blueberries
  • ¼  cup baby spinach
  • ¼  cup parsley
  • ½  cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup water
  • Ice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash and dry fresh produce. Peel and mince ginger. Chop kale and cucumber, peel and chop beets. Slice red cabbage and turnip greens.
  2. Combine ingredients in blender and pulse until mixture has a smooth and pourable consistency.
